At the edge of Shenjiamen Harbor emerges a new cultural destination with a network of public spaces

From paving design to street furniture, all aspects of the landscape connect the history of the site to its future. The plazas are flexible, allowing for large groups to gather for events and festivals and seamlessly connects the energy of street life into the retail experience of the project. Similarly, we envision Binggang Road as a 24hr community, buzzing with cultural activities. The Inner Harbor Experience is the social heart of the project where water becomes the main spatial organizing element. The central canal provides different ways of engaging with water: strolling along the canal, enjoying a meal at one of the floating restaurants, visiting the koi water gardens, playing in the interactive water feature or next to the land bridge waterfall. Large granite boulders create two waterfall moments evoking a feeling of water moving down the hillside and through the project.
