CONEJO CREEK PARK

We envision a neighborhood park that tells a story of the unique agricultural past of the site, its resilient future and the vibrant community of Thousand Oaks.

Rather than erasing the past with a new layer of a park, our proposal studies and re-interprets each previous layer of the past of the site. From the natural beginnings as a riparian open space through to its next phase as a community hub, we believe each period tells a unique story and can be celebrated. Together we can create a park like none other, a true hybrid, that innovates and responses to needs of tomorrow and preserves the vibrant past
